It's just not normal if you go somewhere and only take pictures of the place and none of your own face and the faces of people who went there with you. Phew* Here goes some of the pictures taken during my Hot Spring trip with the family :)
It is also NORMAL to take pictures in the car :P
But mom never layan! Macam syok sendiri Sigh~
Same goes to dad. That's because that day was not his birthday! Yeap, he will only layan on his birthdays -_-"
At last when I finally found someone who is in the mood to layan me just a little, I failed at capturing a nice angle of her. So sorry but who cares coz I looked not bad here SlowCatchUpKuan!
Here's a picture of our sponsor cum driver, Mr. EatAllYouCanShung. He's no big fan of meat, which explains the bones you see in the picture :P
I introduce to you, the person who enjoyed the most there was TeddyMommy for sure!
She said her leg felt better after an half an hour of soaking -_-" Unbelievable.
My dad being his usual fussy self that day, he didn't talk much but once he open his mouth, seriously like shooting everyone. The picture below made him look like some Hongkie head of gangster! LOL.
I love being in a jacuzzi so much that I refuse to get out of the water when everyone else was taking a break. Hehe.
SlowCatchUpKuan on the other hand was getting all giggly the whole time. She was laughing at her bf's skeleton figure -_-"
Relax for a while.......................
Then, get into action! Note for guys out there, eat more before you get bullied by your other half. XD
Since this is a family trip, it's a must to have a family portrait taken there :)
It's time to get change when we're done soaking.
Die die must put the nicest picture of SlowCatchUpKuan and I. Every other pictures has failed us :(
Here is the one and only picture of mom and dad taken together on that day. They never seem to like taking pictures together. Complicated family I have.
I got myself a little present from Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park! TeddyMommy didn't notice I was passing something to sis and that my hand was at the car door, she pushed it close quite hard and I end up getting a very dark bruise on my hand that lasted a week or so :(

Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park, Sungkai, Perak [Part1]
12 October (Sunday):- A family trip to Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park, Perak! :)
The Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park was opened in December 2003, so it is considered quite new. The most important thing about going to such public place is definitely the cleanliness of the place and the water. Fortunately the place is well maintained and the water is clear from what I see. It's a hot spring after all, the hot water should have killed whatever germs that might be there XD
Hot spring!! Hot spring!!! We are coming!!!!!!!!!!!
As you reach there, you need to pay for entrance fees of RM10 for adult and RM8 for children to get the tickets before driving in. The park is surrounded by greeneries and tall trees therefore you can enjoy soaking in the water for as long as you like, provided your body and skin can stand the water temperature.
Mom has been experiencing aches at her knees and certain parts of the legs. We heard that the natural springs have healing properties, so we went there for a try. SlowCatchUpKuan and I had always wanted to go for spas but the modern spas are way too expensive -_-" This hot spring is an alternative spa for us as we can soak in the hot water for as long as we want!!
Public pools
There were a few pools with different temperatures. Most of the people soak only their legs into the water as the water is too hot. There were a few smaller pools that are deep enough for you to soak your whole body in. Unfortunately those pools were occupied when we reached. So we opt for a private pool! :D They charge RM75/hour for a standard type of private jacuzzi and RM125/hour for the superior type. How superior is SUPERIOR? Hmm, I have no idea! We went for the cheaper one of course.
Standard private jacuzzi XD
It is worth to pay for a private room if you're there with family. Soaking in the hot water without any disturbance from outsiders is bliss.
Important notice as you close the door
One hour means ONE HOUR! Better not be late to check out as the notice behind the doors warned you for extra charges. RM15 penalty if you're 10 minutes late. Money sucker Expensive betul!
We are also supposed to take a quick shower before entering the pool. But dad said, "I bathed before we come. No need!" And so we jumped into the water straight :P
The place to take shower
There is also a private toilet in the private room. Yay! You can change inside the room instead of queuing in the public toilet.
I welcome you. That's my FIRST "peace" sign in pictures -_-" Looking at it geli-fied me! Sigh~
This private pool allows us to soak our entire body inside the water without the need to worry of getting boiled/burned/cooked alive in the hot water. Well, that's because we could actually control the temperature of the water! Mom was like an Iron Lady, she can really tahan the hot hot water! That is truly a modern jacuzzi that looks not too modern. Haha.
Hot spring jacuzzi
Like all jacuzzi in those spas centre, this jacuzzi gives you the body massage effect! It felt like the water was hitting your body as the water comes out from those tiny little holes all around the walls of the pool. Mom enjoyed it a lot! :)
Can fit two only ah??
I think the private pool can fit around 10+ people at once.
Of course can fit more!
There were also a notice near the resting area in the room advising us how long we should soak in the water and how many rest breaks we should in between. Too long in the water can pengsan leh! As our heartbeat will increase due to the temperature, it is best to not soak too long in the water to prevent from fainting. Take things slowly~
At the end, take turns to take a quick shower then change in the toilet.
SlowCatchUpKuan saying bye-bye to the private jacuzzi :(
Curious where does the hot water came from? Here's the water source. Never try to use your fingers to touch the water here!
Water source
Besides soaking in the water, you can also purchase some raw eggs and boil it in the pools of water! We did not do that though coz we opt for better food instead. Kekeke. Will blog about the herbal duck mee soon.
Boil.... boil..... boil.....
This hot spring park is a good place for sekeluarga berendam legally in the same pool family gatherings. It opens from 8am to 10pm daily.

Progress Of Sand Flies Bites
For those who are wondering how the healing process from the sand flies bites, here's the pictures I captured before heading to bed yesterday.
I finished all the pills prescribed to me. But the white coloured cream given to me is still a lot lar. Should I keep applying it or just leave it and start on my Mederma scar reduction regime eh? I don't even know what the function of the white cream is! -_-" Dilemma~
*********************
I went to Anis's Raya Openhouse today :) I have no idea when will I get the pictures, so blog update on date is still unknown :(
Sneak peek:-

I might have a post of my post-departure-of-Spicy-B-retail-therapy tomorrow if I'm up for it XD

Quite Confirm Those Are Sand Flies Bites
Remember this and this post about the clinic which sells Viagra? Well, I went back there today. Haha. Not for the Viagra! I went to consult the doctor about the bites I've been suffering from for a week already.
The doctor said those bites are most probably caused by SAND FLIES! :(
Spicy-B, I just want to say "I told you so!" Hehe. I seriously have no idea when did I get bitten coz my boy seems perfectly fine with no more than a few ants bites. Sigh. This is why I always say "Life is never fair" and it has again proven right.
I guess my boy really 'min pei hao' :P Don't get? I'm saying that he has thick skin! That's the only reason I can think of. Too thick that the sand flies could not poke its' needle thingy in. On, second thought, maybe they were not interested in him to start with. Tak ada attraction la! :P Or maybe bulu (hair) too long that they got lost in his jungle of leg hair, so the suckers gave up? Stop. Stop. I shall not be mean. -_-"
Continue. I now need to take 9 pills per day, apply the cream twice a day and hopefully the scars will just fade slowly as fast as possible. Aku tak boleh tahan tengok my ugly leg! :(
This could have been my leg. Luckily mine was not that serious. Bitches Beaches are scary :(

Everyone Better Be Careful Of Sand Flies!
Regarding my previous post, Tekkaus suggested that I might get bitten by sand flies. I supposed if it was, then I probably got it from Lang Tengah. But then, I don't exactly know what sand flies are and I doubt that it is the cause for all the redness, itchiness and the bumpiness on my skin since I only got it FEW DAYS after I got back from there. So I googled to find out.
At first I was like "Ek, couldn't be lar!". Then I start to worry as I continue reading.
It says that a sand fly is only about less than 3mm long and with shrimp-like appearance that ranges in colour from pale to brownish. I don't remember seeing anything that looked like that in Lang Tengah. There were only normal home flies and freaking loads of red ants k!
Apparently, sand flies bite is most likely to occur at dawn or in the evening and night time hours on the beach or other sandy areas that are near water. Oh God, Spicy-B and I played at the beach in most of the evenings there!! And there was once that we lepak-ed there at night. Higher chances of it being caused by sand flies :(
Like a mosquito, sand flies bite to suck blood. It is the female sand fly that bites. It does this in order to get the protein from the blood that is necessary for its egg laying. The sand flea bite involves the injection of saliva to thin the blood, making it easier for the flea to take blood from its victim. This same saliva triggers the body’s immune system to react. Fuck lor if really got bitten by sand flies. Means they could transmit some diseases to me lehhhhh.... Scared. Scared.
The bite causes a large welt or rashes on the skin that can persist for several days. A fever may also occur. I was relieved to read that because I did not get any immediate fever or whatsoever.
The welts or hives produced from bites are very itchy. Scratching the bitten areas should be avoided in order to prevent the development of an infection. Scratching will also prolong the symptoms of swelling, itch, and skin redness. Why must they shock me with this?!! Swelling? YES! Itch? YES! Redness? YES! Three strikes, man! And I've been scratching non-stop! Why nobody tell me that it could get that bad? :(
Sand flies bites are also known to carry various diseases such as Carrions disease, the Pappataci fever virus, and various parasites that can cause conditions such as Leishmaniasis. Leishmaniasis is dangerous. Because sand flies feed on human blood, there is the possibility of transferring protozoan parasites that are responsible for this disease to humans. As of 2006, there is no vaccine to combat Leishmaniasis caused by a sand flea bite. Hey, what about now?? Is it curable? Do they have any medicine since it's already 2008 now??!! I don't want any scars. Sob*
I thought since it's not as itchy as before and I supposed it is healing already, I could save my allowance rather than to go see doctor. But the possibilities really scare the hell out of me. I shall ask someone to chauffeur me to the clinic next week. Sigh*

To The Beach

I mentioned earlier about people having to hide from friends and family. It's a must to be kept undiscovered or they will end up giving up their lives to the ones who are hunting them down. These people who are hiding are the ones in the Witness Protection Program in USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight. Mary Shannon, a U.S Marshall with her partner Marshall Mann who are secretly working for the witness program are responsible to protect and manage the relocated Federal Witness from all over the country. It's no easy life to hide like that. If I am one of the ones who are hiding, I wouldn't mind hiding somewhere that has beaches. Why suffer to the max when you can still enjoy life a little while hiding? Besides, when and if those killers are checking out the gorgeous girls at the beach, I might get a chance to run away!

Penang Trip [Part 1]
The tickets in my What's Next? post was actually very outdated tickets (the picture, not the post) to Penang. HungryJess, BadBoyVincent and I made a trip to Penang during Christmas season last year. Yes, LAST YEAR, that's how outdated the photos are. I'm not all to be blamed, alright. I just get the photos from HungryJess not long ago. So it's partly her fault also! :P Because of the timing and all, we were not affected by government's action to stop the Konsortium Bus operation. Duh!*
Since it has been so long ago, I'm lazy to blog about the details. So, let the photos talk instead. (I looked ugly in most of the photos. And I was so damn FAT! So not much to show also lar. Haha) Anyhow, will still try to write what I can eh :D
In the bus, on our way to Penang!!
One of the reason to go Penang was to accompany HungryJess to meet up with her future in-laws *cough* for the first time. First mission already accomplished when we step down from the bus. BBV's mom was already waiting for him while our driver cum tour guide Mr. Sin Hwa, HungryJess's cousin was still on-his-way, or so he said. So no choice but to have the meet and greet session with BBV's mom. One word- awkward! Hehe.
Our fist destination, The New World Park Hawker Centre. We were starving! OK, more like HungryJess was starving. Will blog about the food later on.
We embarrassed ourselves here on the first day -_-"
Hmm, I can't recall what we did exactly and which place we visited in order. So, just bear with my cincai travel blogging yea. It's never good to delay things. This is the consequences - cincai blogging and so not interesting. Forgotten all the funny things and funny jokes we made -_-"
Come, I bring you to Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the best known temple in the island. Most of the tourists were there to see the architecture and artwork on the temple. But people like us who do not have much appreciation on history did not enjoy much besides the cam-whoring moments. Hehe. I love the walking though. Ahhhh... the long walk all the way up to the temple. I felt as though 10 pounds of fats melted off my body after that! :D But got to accept the reality that I am still fat lar. -_-
Tortoises
The Kek Lok Si temple is situated in Air Hitam, a suburb of Georgetown. The temple was there in 1980 but don't worry about it falling apart when you're walking halfway uphill. The temple is nowhere near to the state to be called dilapidated. The construction to keep it "new" was still going on at some part of the temple the time when we visited.
This is only halfway. There's still a long way to go
HungryJess and I
I did not pay much attention at all every time Sin Hwa tells the history of Penang and the place that we visited. *yawn* Now I got to do my own research and read about it @_@
Talrijke Boeddha's met een svastika
The Kek Lok Si Temple was actually inspired by the chief monk of Goddess of Mercy Temple of Pitt Street. It has then become the largest and best known temple in Penang.
Mr. Tour Guide and HungryJess
After reading a whole lot about the temple, I decided not to bore you anymore. *Yalar, I didn't finish reading it :P* Let's just look at the photos. Most of the photos really tak boleh pakai! Sin Hwa, you are better of being a tour guide. Hehe. I blame you and nobody else, so?? :P
Nice :)
I think out of so many temples in Penang, this is the one that is well maintained. I was awed by the beauty of the architecture. *Don't be surprised alright?!* I love to be in the high rise, where I could literally see the whole Penang.
Wow!
This looks even more gorgeous from this angle
Sure to make you feel like a King. Or, a Queen for me. I have breasts no doubts on my sexuality. Just look the view of my castle at the picture below. Hehe.
My kingdom :D

Laptop Is An Important Asset
I'm back from my Penang trip!!! =D *jumping up and down, left and right* Miss me?? Miss me?? No?
Hundreds of mails! Hundreds of Facebook application requests! A long list of unreplied messages in my CBox. "Why no update geh?" "You busy ah?" "Still exam?" "When u wanna update??"
Well, these were all due the malfunctioning of my laptop about a week or more ago. My laptop fell sick and just not interested to see anyone, so it wouldn't switch on no matter how we press it. After the visit to the clinic, it got attacked by virus till we can't log into our desktop!! That's the reasons for all the upcoming oh-so-outdated posts. Hehe.
Anyhow, the laptop recovered, so I hope I can write at least one post a day. Well, it is merely a hope, no guarantees :P
