Take A Look At The Wound

I never get to sleep well when there is something disturbing my mind. I will end up thinking and thinking the whole damn night. Falling asleep can be such a difficult task! Missing Kobe was one of the reasons for the lack of sleep yesterday night. Thank god we got her back today! I kept asking dad to fetch SlowCatchUpKuan and I to the vet to fetch Kobe back to her home-sweet-home.

When we got there, the vet told us that Kobe refused to eat anything since the night before. She must have been in distress and thought that we have abandoned her. Poor thing. That was like, the first time she has been caged up since the day I brought her back.

When she first saw me

When she first saw me she was wagging her tail and moving around wanted me to get her out of the cage. But I wasn't ready to carry her as I was holding a number of things in my hand. She cried for help thinking that I was leaving without her again :(

Kobe crying for help

She was slightly lighter. Perhaps weighing 18.80kg due to the fasting? The first thing she did was to rush out from the vet and pee. LOL.

Kobe was so so happy to be home. She has been a good girl the whole day. She might be in pain still. I don't know. Just imagine you going under the knives for plastic surgery. How would you feel, eh?

Home-sweet-home

They shaved too much of her fur. Her entire lower part is bald now. Sigh. Very the fugly k!

No more hair.... er.. fur...

Let's have a close up at the wound. They plastered it. So cannot see lor. Hehe. Take a good look at it and you can see a small wet part. I hope it's normal that it's like that =S

Wound

My manja dog is not so manja after all. She is doing good and all. However, still need to quarantine her for a month coz the doctor said that her skin is a bit too sensitive. The E-collar will be worn for a month then to stop her from licking her wound.

My baby going strong!

awww poor puppy. how come she had surgery? shouldn't the vets have left the wound exposed to air so it can dry and heal quicker instead of covering it up?

We got her spayed. I'm not sure if we're suppose to expose to air, but the plaster came out today =X
