Ever question the impact that an individual has on Earth? Do you ever have any doubts when someone tells you what you do today may affect greatly on others from different part of the world? Some may not believe in this but I truly believe that a single individual has the power to create change to others' life as well as the environment as a whole.
In the mission of creating more awareness on this matter, Reader's Digest has created a section called RD.com - Make Your Mark where they publish articles about what people are doing in the effort of making a difference in people's life. These articles are very good in the sense that it teaches you how important your every doing is and how vital to think of others as well. If you too would like to make a difference, please go ahead. It doesn't have to be something big. Start with something small where you're capable of doing and I bet you'll feel a lot better after that. Helping others is a great way to give back the society. Who can also join the others who have made a difference in the world by get going and do something now rather than just thinking about it. You may then join the weekly challenge held by RD.com - Make Your Mark section in Reader's Digest. There have been individuals such as Helen Little who have joined the challenge. I'm touched with her mission in Haiti, trying to send children to school because she believes that education is the way out of poverty. I could not agree less with her thinking. I'm glad that Reader's Digest has been involved in such activities and publishes amazing articles that really should be read by everyone. Reader's Digest Homepage is where you could get more details about all these.
